New volunteer hours for summer

Our new volunteer hours for the summer are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 pm to 5 pm. We’re looking for help with all farm tasks including seeding and transplanting new crops, preparing and maintaining garden beds, and managing weeds and compost piles. The GCUOF goes off the grid!

As of 12:30 pm March 6th, 2012, the GCUOF is 100% solar-powered! This is exciting progress in making the farm a model of sustainable farming for an energy-limited future. Check out these photos (taken last May) of the recently completed installation process.
