Thanksgiving Market

On Thursday, October 7th GCUOF volunteers ran a pre-Thanksgiving market in Branion Plaza at the centre of the University of Guelph campus.

This offered the U of G community the chance to see and taste the bounty of food that the farm supplied this season. It also offered an opportunity to build our network of volunteers.

The certified organic GCUOF produce that was offered for sale included onions, potatoes, squash, pumpkins, carrots, fresh herbs, peppers, eggplant, kale and other greens, and much more! The Thanksgiving market earned over $2000 in produce sales, which will go towards education, outreach and infrastructure initiatives at the GCUOF.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the farm!
